Augmenting monday’s fur legwarmers and hand-fluffies by the insertion of glow sticks through outward-curving slits into pockets withing the lining, and fixing them secure by bringing a loose backsticth through their lanyard-holes.

Pfingstgeflüster Shoot
On thursday june 9, I had the opportunity of doing the first official photo-shoot presenting my own designs being photographed by Marcus Rietzsch in the upper hall of the Leipziger Neues Rathaus. The results from this fruitful experience are set to appear printed in the 2011 issue of Pfingstgeflüster, the annual publication documenting the various aspects of the Wave Gotik Treffen, after which they’ll be posted on this website.
The Black Shirt
The original black shirt was my first experiment at elaborate shirt-making and was based upon a regular box-placket shirt-body with side-insets providing a perfectly tailored fit. The in the shoulder and wrist-seams gathered sleeves are tied down in mid-biceps with a fixated ribbon, supplying a slight puffed effect, and are elongated from the wrist onwards by bias-tape trimmed ruffles.
Most notable is perhaps the accompanying circle-cut jabot, by accordio-folds fixated within a strap re-placeable under a secluded layer in the shirt’s collar, and which is like the ruffles, also finished by matching black satin bias-tape.
Contact Page and Stylistic Updates
Still sorting through many a correspondence generated from the Wave Gotik Treffen festival, while trying to plan further summer activities, I concocted a sleek Contact Page to elegantly replace the previous message system. The new module is set up to open communication channels through a friendly front within the blog interface, adjusting to the individual’s inclinations.
Other performed adaptions mostly involved stylistic modifications to the trusted z-bench theme, going from highlighting post categories on the main and search index pages to more engaging fonts and a new, properly contemplated, navigation system.
Monday’s Secret Outfit
Casting off the principal layer from primary monday’s Scarlet Cape, by sensually moving the arms up through its sideways bonds, releasing them onto the unveiling underlying attire by motion of flattening down the grand collar, culminating into the festival’s climax outfit, a dance-oriented adaption of the original intent, garnished with red glow borrowed from a nearby container, fully prepared for setting in ultima nocta.
