Monday's Secondary Outfit

Monday’s Secondary Outfit combines both cyber and mittelalter elements to establish an immaculate hybrid look showing quite a lot of skin, yet relying strongly on hair-based fabrics.
Akin to the Primary Outfit is the boastful chin-covering-collar capette - contrived from remaining scarlet velour - as the focal point of the outfit, giving away to the off-white velvet-jersey used for the crop-top, returning as the base-material for the fur-covered leg and wrist-warmers, keeping red glow-sticks embedded into tiny pockets.
Covering the hips we find sideways slashed short shorts, giving a hint of the underwear, whilst upholding the, with straps and rings decorated, back-panel-skirt, spurring the futuristic side of the outfit together with the cybernetic eye-wear combed discretely through the head rigorous blond hair.

Red Shirt Sleeve Wrist Zipper

Matching red zippers hidden within the folds form the ideal way for closing the Red Shirt sleeve at the wrist.

Thursday’s Meeting

Reflection

Thomaskirche Leipzig, shot from next to Bach's StatueAs a number of readers have expressed interest in meeting up before the Wave Gotik Treffen festival takes place, I would like, to not disperse, to welcome those who are interrested to join me for dinner at Auerbachs Keller on thursday.

Auerbach’s keller, situated right in the heart of Leipzig has a beautiful underground restaurant, serving excellent food at very affordable prices for such an amazing atmosphere. Every year the menu is refreshed,  the drinks enlarged and the staff ever so friendly, setting the perfect mood for this once a year vacation.

For the actual meet-up I convey the area in front of the Thomaskirche, where one can easily spot one another and I generally tend to roam on my first day in Leipzig. After paying respects to the old master, we can, perhaps around half past 6, slowly progress towards the Mädlerpassage where we may descend down into the Large Cellar.

Unique Experimentation

Technics

Shoulder piece conjunction prototype

Trying to find the ideal combination of inset seams to perfectly engulf the immensely difficult shoulder shape in a conjunction that would work well with pelt-like or heavy-weight materials and which can be easily rescaled in different sizes for creating multiple successive layers holding on to the same proportions.

The Rider Basque

Technics

Concocted to elongate the front of the Velvet Frock Coat, the rider’s basque is designed to provide sitting comfort whilst guarding the lap.

The Rider Belt Design

Giving an oriental touch, the belt’s frontal panels feature sets of downward curves, providing layered protection of the lap, whilst able to maneuver individually during traversal.

The same goes for the back panels, which cover solely the buttocks, causing no friction with the sitting-surface, yet having a regular coat-level split allowing them to maneuver freely.

The beltpart itself is hightened towards the front center, producing a more armor-like appearance, together with the lenghtened side panels, providing the construction with a skirt-like span.
