With the dramatic effect party variant becoming the most often-seen adaption of colored contact lenses, one would almost forget their original intent of changing one’s iris color to that of a less comon but still natural pigment group in order to stand out from a crowd.
The better cosmetic lenses, semitransparantly enhacing color but maintaining your own storma structure, may one day become commonplace as any fasion accesoire, monogenizing an outfit into the smalest detail, whilst making any sort of makeup suit a face, with it being this easy, why not have a different set of eyes each day?

Thursday’s Secondary Outfit | Concepts |
For the secondary outfit for 2011′s thursday I went with a J-goth, black jeansy look, substantiated by a tailing 3-quarter coat, enhanced with leather accents emphasizing shoulders chest and hemline, whilst returning in the diverging cuffs and hood.
With both a central zipper and a set of draped silver chainlets as a means for closing the coat, the view of the blouse can either be limited to its towering collar or allowed to let its stunning grey silk to peer through, forming a connection of bright contrariety, from the fair hair, to the grey-scaled bindings encovering the narrow cut jeans worn underneath.

Natural <-> Synthetic | Reflection |
Accompanying picture exhibits two pieces of similarly colored satin, one from high grade silk thread and the other made from mid grade polyester fibre, at first glance looking considerably alike, though their prospects aren’t; One is purposed to construct the Red Shirt, the other will serve as lining.
Whether my camera captures a superiority in fall and color wealth brought forth by the all natural silk, sufficing to justify its expense is not the most relevant issue, as preparing the shirt out of the polyester would inhibit a strenuous process, never accumulating the finest result, due to its structural limitations.
The choice between having a distinguished shirt out of expensive material, or an overall lesser quality one for an increased number of bad-spirited working hours, appears an easy one to make, as in the end, labour is still the project’s highest cost.
