Shaving Faux Fur

Prior to sewing faux fur it is advisable to trim all hairs emerging within the seam allowance in order to prevent tangling and produce sleek pressable seams.

    The picture shows three pieces. One already had its seams trimmed (right), one having its hairs combed inwards during trimming (top) and one that is freshly cut (left).
