Buying Pants

Normally dreading the necessity that is buying pants – especially so considering the horrid fit current models tend to have on me – I was lucky to find some nice pairs that didn’t require too much alterations to be done.

Linen, cotton and softwool pants with pins indicating correction-points.

  1. The wool pants (in front of the picture) will need to have the whole waistband redone, the cotton ones need just to be taken-in in the back, and the linen had such a surprisingly good fit, I bought two of them.

Why I know this problem with buying pants?
Usully they fit around my hips… but on the waist they are to wide <.<

  3. On doing the retouches I took a closer look at the cut of the soft-wool pants (correct in the hips, yet needed 3 sizes reduced around the waist) and it just doesn’t make sense.

Can’t help but wonder what their vision of perfectly shaped people must look like.
