That's the idea ^_^ The lack of bowning also allows for its battlesuit-like flexibility while still being so tight.

I think leather is really practical because of it’s stiffnes. You don’t need bowning and it still beholds the form when you are making corsett-like things.

Next to save a bit on resources, purposefully cutting the pieces close to the hide's edges also resulted in parts of different granularity being joined together, showing the richness of the material.
